Family Dinner

Last night my husband and I had the pleasure of dining with the twenty-agers. The four of us being home in the evening and having dinner together has become a rarity even though we all reside in the same house. My daughter works on our schedule but isn't always around for dinner, i.e. taking naps right after work and/or going off with friends, and my son works the 3 to 11 shift at a local wine bar/restaurant and goes to school during the day so he is usually all over the place. He’s off work most Sundays and Mondays but typically isn't around for dinner, i.e. fishing, partying, etc. So last night was nice the four of us having a little repast of eggplant parmesan, pasta, salad, wine and beer at home.
