Celebrating T-Money's Birthday

On Wednesday, January 26 my son, T-Money, will be 23 so tonight my husband, T-money and myself went out to celebrate. T-Money's sister errnnn was somewhat under the weather and opted out on the outing. She came home from work and put herself to bed hoping to feel better by the time the next work day rolled around. The three of us first went to the Square for happy hour drinks and then we went to a new neighborhood sushi restaurant. The dinner was very delicious. I had shrimp tempura and my husband had a sushi-shrimp tempura combo and T-Money had a shit load of sushi. T-Money had a Japanese beer and I had a couple of glasses of the house wine, some kind of a napa cab. We had a nice time and a very enjoyable dinner but we missed errnnn.

I also wanted to mention that today is the anniversary of the demise of errnnn's 1983 Volvo. Last year exactly 52 weeks ago today some crazy women while speeding ran a red light and hit errnnn while driving her 1983 Volvo that originally was our family car. We had owned the Volvo since 1983 and she went from pre-school to college it that car. Of course the most important thing is that she was not injured. I know it's insignificant talking about a car; but that car took my children to many t-ball practices, boy/girl scout meetings, dance practices, pick ups from after school band practices, not to mention many family vacations (one in which we were going camping in the Great Smoky Mountains and we looked like the Beverly Hillbillys after we had everything packed and lawn chairs bungy corded to our roof rack) and for 20 years we brought our Christmas tree home on top of the roof rack.
